Course Information (EDP Program)
The EDP (Emotional Disability - Private School) Program is a highly-structured, success-oriented program, that is part of the Special Education Department. The focus is to help the students achieve a healthy emotional balance and develop social skills, while working on a challenging academic curriculum. Our class is small, no more than 10 students, with a teacher and a paraprofessional. The students receive small group/individual instruction designed to meet their individual academic needs. A licensed counselor works with our students in a small group setting for three hours per month. In addition, the student participate in a classroom peer-support group. Helping students to achieve their potential is our goal.
